Dragon and Tiger Coin

The original tiger-dragon composition was in some tattoo art pack, I just redesigned it a bit, smoothed out the lines. I found some similar here too: www.deviantart.com/art/Dragon-…

It was engraved with an old cnc milling machine, i had to draw this in autocad. I had to use only straight lines and curves because the machine wasnt able to handle elliptic lines or splines. The finished drawing was converted to a 1,5KByte! large G code file and was transferred to the machines 286 controlling computer via coaxial. The whole engraving process lasted about 30minutes long, the edges werent smooth enough, so the whole coin had to be polished. (THX to danoka87.deviantart.com/ for the polishing job!)
